SharkBait Posted November 15, 2006 Share Posted November 15, 2006 $_REQUEST I believe is like $_GET which gets their values from a URL.So you would use them like this:
$myValue = $_GET['id'];
The rest of it I am unsure of what you are asking. lucerias Posted November 16, 2006 Author Share Posted November 16, 2006 That is not what i want, i am not asking how to get the data but want to change the data. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
btherl Posted November 16, 2006 Share Posted November 16, 2006 I am a little unclear on what you are asking, but yes, you can set values in $_REQUEST. That will affect any files included by the your script.
$_REQUEST['id'] = '12345';include "page.php";
page.php will see $_REQUEST['id'] as '12345', instead of the previous value. lucerias Posted November 16, 2006 Author Share Posted November 16, 2006 Must I use include, is there any other way which the change can be made to all .php page, i mean once the value is changed, wherever the page i am in and call it, it will show the up to date value. SharkBait Posted November 16, 2006 Share Posted November 16, 2006 You want more of a global variable? Set it ones and then all pages after it's been set will use that value? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
