parvysage
Hi guys, I recently posted this in the "misc" part of the forums but didn't get a response as it may have been the wrong area to post it in. This is a repost of the original. Thank you. Hey guys, I am new to PHP and still learning so my knowledge is limited. I am currently refining my HTML skills in preparation for getting down in to some solid PHP books. In the mean time I was wondering whether there exists a script which does something similar to the following. My work place require me to make a Database with all our staff members in there. (We are a non-profit creative media foundation who work with children). The Manager has a few projects in mind and would like a database profiling the skill sets of the employees. What I need is a simple script that will allow each employee to add simple information such as Name, DOB, Contact details, a photo, and a personal description box. Once their profile has been created the manager must have his own login credentials and be able to search for a specific skill set. This could be HTML design, music production, practically anything and freely browse the profiles of employees. If anyone is aware of a script doing that does a similar function I would be very greatful if you can point it out or assist me in anyway. Thank you. trq
You original thread was moved to misc from this forum because you obviously missed this: http://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/150979-this-board-is-not-a-code-repository You obviously also missed reading the rules which you agreed to when you signed up as it is clearly noted that double posting is not permitted. As for why you haven't had any replies. This forum is frequented by programmers and those looking to learn how to program. Questions like "where can I find this..." are generally pretty off topic. parvysage
Hi I do not believe it was moved to misc, I personally created it in misc as I felt there was no other place for it being an unorthodox request. You are right I did not clearly read all the rules and will re-read them now. As admin please go ahead and delete both threads at your discretion. Thank you.
