fenway
I'll try to explain -- I've never need to do this before, and as with most things, I can work around it easily, I just want to confirm that I have to.For example, if I wanted to get back a list of all the columns for table myTable, "SHOW COLUMNS FROM myTable" would work; but then what? I can't seem to "use" these records in subsequent queries or statements -- it looks like output-only. Which is dumb, but entirely possible without MySQL 5, which has the I_S tables.Any thoughts?
