<label id="TABLE" value="DEBITS" selected="selected" </label>

Im trying to just declare the ID "TABLE" as "DEBITS" it was a drop down adn now i need it staic for when i call it later. It is in a form. So ill be calling it $_POST[TABLE]. Im just a little uncertain how to achive this as this value is declared from another page too so i can change how i call it just how this page (one above) declairs it. Anyone got any pointers?

In order for something to be posted to a PHP page it has to be in a form element such as input, textarea, select, etc. If you just want a static value then use a hidden input to send it. Something like this, if you want the user to see something in addition to it being posted:

 <div><input type="hidden" name="TABLE" value="DEBITS">DEBITS</div>
