Hi,

I have code as

<div id="xerox_paper">
<p>Hello bro, it is <span>3</span></p>
</div>

I want to disable whole DIV tag having id as xerox_paper WHERE Span value is 3.

I searched all over internet but didnt find anything helpful.

Need help.

Thanks

You can only have an ID be used once per page, so are you sure you don't want to use a class?  I assume there are more than one.

But, as for what you asked ..

http://jsfiddle.net/UwDEA/

It does not disables whole DIV.

Take a look at http://jsfiddle.net/bNYjp/
