PHP Array

OK i am very new to PHP so please be gentle LOL. 

 

I am posting a form to Liveaddress API and then i get the response back in an array it looks like this

How would i take primary_number and turn that into a variable to then insert into a database?

Say your array is stored in $array

 

$primary_number = $array[0]['components']['primary_number'];

I tried everything except joining the [0] to ['components']['primary_number'];
