can somone tell why i get 'return not in function return false; on the changeBodyClass function:
changeBodyClass(from,to)
{
  document.body.className = document.body.className.replace(from,to);
  return false;
}

function createMarker(point, pubName, pubAddress)
{
  var marker = new GMarker(point);
  var pubInfoBox = document.getElementById("pubinfo");
  var text = document.createTextNode ( "<strong>" + pubName + "</strong> <br/>" + pubAddress);
  // === store the name so that the tooltip function can use it ===
  marker.tooltip = "<div class='tooltip'>" + pubName + "</div>";

  //  ======  The new marker "mouseover" and "mouseout" listeners  ======
  GEvent.addListener(marker,"mouseover",
  function() {
    showTooltip(marker);
  }
  );
  GEvent.addListener(marker,"mouseout",
  function() {
    tooltip.style.visibility="hidden";
  }
  );

  GEvent.addListener(marker,"onclick",
  function() {
    pubInfoBox.appendChild(text);
    changeBodyClass('pubpanel-hide', 'pubpanel-show');
    return false;
  }
  );

  return marker;
}
the gevent listeners are classes from the google maps api and the parameters in the update markers functions are valid jscript objects which originate from my database
