Using node.js with PHP

Not really, no. That said, node.js is probably not what you are thinking it is. It is an alternative server-side language environment and not something that helps you interact with browser's JS in any way. It's not going to make your jQuery/ajax stuff any easier to write, especially if you try and mix it with PHP.
