Hi, Folks:

Need to get old style MySQL5.1.65, Apache 2.2 and PHP 5.3.8 up and running on a new Windows 8, Intel-5 pc.  May even have to do this setup times 5 (on up to 5 pc's)!!  So, have a basic vacuum of knowledge on how to obtain Windows C++ 2006, or V6 capability.  What is the least expensive option out there?  And, already having C++ 2008 on the server, is that a help or hindrance?

Any help is appreciated,

Yshua

Why do you think you need vc6 builds of stuff? You can get vc9 version of apache from Apache Lounge to use with the vc9 PHP builds. Doesn't really matter how mysql was built since it doesn't integrate directly with Apache or PHP.

Dear mac_gyver:

The only version absolutely necessary is MySQL 5.1.65 because of an outside package(s). Actually, Kicken is right, that the other versions actually are unnecessary after all, freeing me up from the need for V6. And also just discovered the means to download this version, or similar ones from Microsoft Downloads. Still exciting to find out, but will pass on this question as unneeded after all.

Thank you all,

Yshua
