User profile page needs api/app to post activities, photos vids.

My web page needs an API or code for each individual user to post Activities, Photos, Videos, Status in only part of their profile page. We considered using Facebook's API but we would like users to have more control over how this criteria is displayed. We are using PHP CodeIgnitor.

 

Also any recommendations to have a small window for real time chat?

You don't just download an api. It's something that needs to be built.
