Nomax5
Hello,I've just moved hosts to ixwebhosting.com they seem very popular and have great dealsBut when my php scripts create stuff like directories or files they have a user and group of httpdwhich I assume is the default owner.I don't have the permissions to do anything with them - how can I make it so I own the objects? or have the permission to them. I know this question must have been asked lots of times, I have searched the forums but I can't find the answer. HuggieBear
My advice would be to contact ixwebhosting.com in the first instance and find out if there's anything they can advise, as this isn't a PHP related issue, rather an issue with the way they have their server set up.RegardsHuggie Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/28801-created-objects-owned-by-httpd-how-can-i-avoid-this/#findComment-132019 Share on other sites
