Hi there,

Apologies if this is in the wrong section, not sure what would cover it aha

I have a client who would like to be able to update her photos in the gallery weekly, and possibly update any text on the site herself (description etc). What is the best way to go about this? She used a site builder to get it up and running, but I don't have access to the host, so I don't have access to databases or know if they allow PhP.

Would an admin panel be the best way about this?

If so, would anyone mind talking me through a rough step-by-step of the process? :)

You don't know how the site was built or what language it is even built in. How can we provide any help since we know even less than you do?

You need to find out what the backend of the site is built in. Then you can determine if you want to (or can) build an interface into changing that data outside of the application that was used to build it.

The current layout was created using a Site Builder, it's very basic HTML & CSS. Right now, there is no PhP or Javascript on the site.

I've got in touch with her to find out who is hosting the site, they think it's 1and1, but don't know if they have cPanel or even the FTP details.. Might just transfer the domain in the end, that way I know what we have to work with aha
