johnmerlino1
I was looking at the manual: http://php.net/manual/en/language.operators.precedence.php And I notice that the parenthesis () operator and print operator are missing from the list. Why so? I would like to know where these operators fall in the precedence and associativity chart. kicken
print is not an operator, it is a language constructs (like if, while, foreach, etc). That is why it is not on the list. I'm not sure whether () would be considered an operator or not, but probably not if it's not on the list. However, if it were, it would be a unary operator and fit at the top similar to where clone/new is.
