Problem with Apache Redirection

Hi all,
I will describe my problem...
I have 2 pc's.
a) WIN 2000 Server
b) Linux Fedora Core 3
and a Router Netgear ( I think it DG384G ).
I want to run my web site in WIN2000 Server,
through Linux Firewall in port 11000.
Settings:
a) Create a service in router ( e.g WS on port 11000)
b) Create firewall roules on Router to activate the above service
c) Create on router a DynDNS account (according to DynDNS.com settings)
d) Create in Linux a virtual server under Apache on my LAN settings, point to port 11000, and redirect the virtual server to another LAN IP which is my WIN 2000.
When i am trying to see what i have done from Linux opening Firefox and write:
e.g test.example.org:11000 everything works fine. It opens my WIN2000 web site, but when i am trying to see that from WIN 2000 it is impossible.
It says that it can't find host (where host is my WIN2000 LAN IP)
Any suggestions?
Is my firewall the problem or the settings in my Apache virtual server?
Thank you in advance

When you mention "Apache Virtual Server" - do/should you mean "Apache Virtual Hosts"? - I think thats the correct term (maybe). Anyways - with Apache Virtual Hosts - if this config is incorrect ->
you still should be able to access/connect to the correct host (in my opinion), but you may see the incorrect apache webpage etc. Also - if you *do* manage to get make to to accessing the apache server (i.e. if your firewall is correct) then you *should* see apache access logs.

I think this is a DNS issue. Can you telnet test.example.org 11000?
A workaround - is to add test.example.org to your hosts file.

I have not personally used Webmin - although I have read a little about it. You can read a little about webmin here:
http://www.debianhelp.co.uk/Webmin.htm

also see -> http://www.howtoforge.com/lamp_installation_ubuntu6.06  which is what you are doing IMO. It has also some info on setting up your router.

If it *only* DOES NOT work on your local pc/server - its your local pc's/server's fault IMO. Try ping and telnet to the host from your local pc. But if it works on the outside - then DynDNS is correct.
