glenelkins
HiI am setting up an intranet for client files. Say their name is Bob. They have a folder http://server.com/bob to access their files. I want to restrict this access unless the user is logged in.I did a mod_rewrite in .htaccess as follows
RewriteEngine OnOptions +FollowSymlinksRewriteBase /RewriteRule ^(.*)/$ index.php?user=$1
This directs the user to index.php carrying thier user folder in this case "bob" The index.php then takes this value and check to see if that user is logged in with session variables. If not displays a login form. But when they are logged in i actually want the page to redirect to allow them to see their files/view pages but now when they type www.server.com/bob it redirects back to index.php again, how can i make it so the mod_rewrite can check the login state?
