symbol Posted December 4, 2006 Share Posted December 4, 2006 Im new to all this....Im running WINXPRO with IIS50 and PHP5. When I installed MySQL using the Server Instance Config Wizard, it gets to the last step where MySQL starts to processing config , I get a "Service could not be started. wildteen88 Posted December 7, 2006 Share Posted December 7, 2006 Go to Start > Runnow type in services.mscThis will bring up the services that are setup. Scroll down the list of services and stop any services that are named MySQL. Retry the Server Instance Config Wizard should get the service running.
