meshreyas
Hi , I upgraded my application to PHP 5.5 . and found that for very few cases mysqli insert query fails. There are three DB queries are executed here. 1st step: insert query1 /************************/ $sql = "Insert into table 1"; $result=$link->execute($sql); if(!$result) die($conn->errorMsg());$last_id=$link->Insert_ID(); /************************/ get last insert id from db 2nd step: insert query2 3rd step: insert query3 Second and 3rd query uses the 'last insert id' retrieved from 1st step. For some very few cases, it does not return anything due to this, other step 2 and 3 are failing. Please let me know how i can debug this problem, how to catch error returned from mysqli db. Thank You!! Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/295745-adodb-mysqli-insert_id/ Share on other sites
mentalist
- The table name contains a space. - You don't insert anything. - You already catch the result with !$result... its the "die()" that stops it from continuing...
