Hello everyone,

I was wondering if someone could help me in this i know this is pretty stupid and a really small problem however, i can't get my head around it.

This is what im trying to do:
<?php

session_start();
mysql_connect("localhost", "root", "") or die('Could not connect: ' . mysql_error());
mysql_select_db("forum") or die('Could not select database');

// Counts all the posts the specific username has made
$count = mysql_query("select count(username) from forum_post where username='".$_SESSION['username']."'") or die('Query failed: ' . mysql_error());

echo $count;

?>
... but every time i run it i get this: Resource id #4

I honestly never came across this error.

Anyone got any ideas or suggestions?

Thank you very much in advance for any replies :)
