Set Timing for each slide on Slider

I'd like to find out if there's a way to set a time to delay or begin each separate slide

I've horsed around with this, and searched google, but I haven't been able to find a solution. Here's some relevant code:

Look at the demo. It's right in the code:

$('#slideshow').dsSlider({duration: 5000, direction:"right"});
                          ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

If you want different durations, you'll have to edit the plugin. It's still a TODO:

//TODO: dynamisk duration

Thanks so much for your reply,

but "duration", I believe, sets the the length of time the slide appears, am I correct? not when it begins or ends.

Also, that sets the duration for all slides, correct? 

I'm asking about a solution that might "a way to set a time to delay or begin each separate slide.

Like I said, the plugin doesn't support different durations for individual slides.

 

If you need this special feature, you either have to rewrite the plugin or choose a different one.

I've never needed different durations, but this has been successfully hacked into the slick plugin.
