omardavinci
Hi i am using notepad++, i tried netbeans but it takes me some problems like: Object not-found or i put the source to open and create one project. And when i did updates, they are not updated, etc etc. So please if you have some good editor or you prefer netbeans which do you prefer? Jacques1
NetBeans is fine, and I don't remember having any of the problems you describe. PhpStorm is another great IDE (but fairly expensive if you aren't a student and don't have an employer who pays for the licenses). There's also a PHP plugin for Eclipse. 1 Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/302137-which-editor-do-you-recommend-me-for-php-and-mysql/#findComment-1537313 Share on other sites

Strider64
I been using Netbeans since I was mainly a PC user, but I switched over to the iMac and found it even easier to setup. The one downfall that I found writing PHP under Windows is that Windows isn't unix based thus setting up Netbeans (more like the local server in setting it up) takes a little bit of workarounds and/or knowing a little bit of DOS (Something I knew since DOS 3.1 LOL ). However, once you get it setup there should be no problems and things become second nature; however, I found setting up a website on a remote server sometimes a little baffling until I remember I design/developed on a Windows based computer.
