bradabell
Ok first of all I just started learning php today. I created php files to protect a page. However I am not sure how to protect pdf documents from being directly accessed if you have the exact path. Any suggestions? Thanks so much~Brad Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/30858-ok-i-think-i-got-it-this-time-p-i-just-have-a-question-on-pdf-protection-with/ Share on other sites
roopurt18
You would have to place the PDF documents in a directory that is not web-accessible. The method to access them would then be a through a php script that opens the file and passes the content through to the user. Hypnos
Put the PDF files in a directory that isn't public, and have them fed through a PHP script, if the POST/cookie/session/referer/whatever is what it should be.
