domain.com/admin is redirecting to www.domain.com/admin/login.php?? Please help!

Hey Freaks,

Has anyone heard of this crazy situation: When I type in [b]domain.com/admin[/b] and hit enter, it redirects me to [b]http://www.domain.com/admin/login.php[/b] and since the www. in the domain isn't active, it takes me to a "page not found" screen.  But if i type it in like [b]http://domain.com/admin/login.php[/b] then I don't have any problems.

Is there anyway to make it so that when i type in [b]domain.com/admin[/b], I don't run into that problem?

What software are you trying to admin? More than likely you have the root address for that software set with the www.

That's what I thought at first but i searched and searched through all the related files and I didn't come accross www anywhere.  I'm thinking it's a DNS issue.  Maybe I can try setting up a Wildcard A record or something.  Any suggestions?

IMO you should at least setup DNS to handle the www.

yeah, you would think right??  Sometimes my clients don't do it.
