Tagboard Help

Hey everyone!

I hope someone can help me out here. I have never used PHP or MySQL before, so I am a newb. I wasn't sure whether to post this in PHP or MySQL.. Anyway! My problem!

I run an art site, [a href=\"http://www.kina-ink.com\" target=\"_blank\"]www.kina-ink.com[/a] and I'm currently working on a new layout (not up yet) I wanted to add a TagBoard, but i hated all the free ones that ran off of other servers. I figured I'm pretty savvy in HTML and CSS and some java, could PHP be that hard? Anyway, I managed to enter a table and database for MySQL and my tagboard, thanks to my web providers' helpful MySQL admin page.

Anyway! here is my tagboard. And it doesnt work!

[a href=\"http://kina-ink.com/tagboard/index.php\" target=\"_blank\"]http://kina-ink.com/tagboard/index.php[/a]

If you need to see any of the code, i can upload any of that, too. I just want it to work because I was supposed to release my new site today, but it just won't post. How irritating!

Anyone know anything about tagboards, or experience similar problems? Thank you so much! Any help would be appreciated!

Well, neither do I -- and you don't even know if it's a MySQL-related problem. You'll need do some more debugging, and then post the block of code / SQL query in question in the appropriate forum. It's impossible to suggest anything else based on the limited information provided -- and post the code itself won't help much either in this case. Good luck.
