Hey

Is it possible to use the explode function in a mysql_query function? I need this because i have a database which looks like this:

Game:
game_id: 1
home_id: 3
visitor_id: 5
home_actions: g:1|g:1|g:1|y:4
visitor_actions: g:3|r:2|y:2|g:4|y:4

Player:
player_id: 1
fname: Jesper
lname: Johnsen
team_id: 1

So what i need in home and visitor_actions are to explode all the signs expect the numbers so i can use the number to define the player_id from player and then call out the players name.

Do my request make sense?
