ProTX and PaypalPro advice

Hi everyone.
I built a shopping cart for a site a while back which worked fine with Paypal, but now my client's gone for Paypal Pro. He wants me to change over the payment gateway.

How hard is it to use SSL and are there any good tutorials on it?
Can anyone suggest or explain what the main differences are? I've looked on the paypal site and it's very poor for navigation and has very little detail.

Is it just a form, like paypal?

If I could see how it needs to be sent, I could do it pretty quickly I Imagine.

Same with ProTX

I will email each company anyway, but if anyone has experience of it, I'd be very grateful if they might offer some advice.
