wattsup88 Posted January 6, 2007 Share Posted January 6, 2007 what is the correct way of stating this query?
SELECT * FROM jobs WHERE (jbcategory = '$value' AND jbstate = '$value1') AND (jbdateexpire > CURRENT_DATE()) ORDER BY $sortby LIMIT $from, $max_results
Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ToonMariner Posted January 6, 2007 Share Posted January 6, 2007 providing all your field names are correct, variables are set and the string is double quoted then that shoudl be fine - you can even lose the braces.I personally place `` around table and field names it helps both you and the server a little but other wise there is nothing glaringly wrong with that query.
