Nolongerused3921
I've been looking around and I can't seem to find an RSS feed parser that I agree with... The potentially #1 one that I have found, is magpieRSS - and not only do I not agree with their choice of setup, but there are a few problems with declaration conflicts between my own script and magpie, so I would rather not use it.I don't suppose there is anyone here willing to share or point out another RSS parser? Or for that matter, how to go about creating one.On a related note, I also need to create an RSS feed, and I was tempted to do this on my own as the standard is rather simple, but I am unsure if there would be any unforeseen difficulties with this task... Is it very difficult? Or is the standard something that everyone follows without waiver.I realize this thread may seem a bit trivial to some, but I have never had the honor of working with RSS or any form of it, so I'm honestly completely in the dark about it, and don't have the time to spend days researching the best methods. ShogunWarrior
Try simple pie RSS, very easy to use and very "smart". simplepie.orgTry searching phpclasses.org for the RSS writing classes, there are quite a few.
