LanceT
PHP has a certain time before the upload times out right? What is the time and how to get around it? Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/35324-uploading-limits/ Share on other sites
genericnumber1
http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.info.php#ini.max-input-timethe manual is helpfulthough if you're doing too big of uploads I'd suggest using ftp, that's what it was made for after all. LanceT
So it says to modify php.ini, what if I'm on a shared server that doesn't allow me to access that myself? Should I get my own server or is it possible my host will do it for me? Cagecrawler
Try putting a php.ini file in the folder where your files are situated. It will sometimes override the shared host main one, if your hosts allow that.
