Rhysickle
I forgot to add a restore point before trying to set my PC up with php, apache and MySQL. The install didn't work, and now that I'm trying to uninstall php I keep getting a 2343 error when it tries to write ini files values. It won't let me repair or change the settings either.Does anyone have any idea how I can manually completely remove php so I can start a fresh install? Thanks Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/36065-completely-uninstalling-php/ Share on other sites

Rhysickle
Good point!Windows XP Media Centre.I also made IIS active, then inactive again as I realised the guide I had to configuring it was out of date, and then installed and uninstalled Apache. Both Apache and PHP were the latest versions available.Hope this is enough info. wildteen88
To un-install PHP just delete the PHP folder - thats it. However once PHP is un-installed you will need to de-configure your http server to stop it loading PHPIf you have IIS and Apache installed only enable one you cannot run both at same time (best to unistall IIS IMO - you can install IIS again if you wish via Add/Remove programs in the Control Panel). I prefer Apache myself. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/36065-completely-uninstalling-php/#findComment-172062 Share on other sites
