robcrozier
Hi, does any one know if there are any browsers that will not display a page if its name has a space in it. For example your page may be called: 'my page.html'. Most web browsers will fill in the space with '%20' or something and display the page no problem but i'm not sure if they all do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Cheers! Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/37885-spaces-in-web-page-names/ Share on other sites
wildteen88
Im not aware of any browsers that may do this, however the server that the website is hosted can play part in this too, depending on how the server is configured Ideally you should not have spaces whatso ever in file names that are hosted on the web. If the file has spaces then use either a hyphen (-) or an underscore (_) in replacement of spaces in file names.
