dahliorse Posted February 28, 2007 Share Posted February 28, 2007 Hello all, New to the world of apache. I have windows and linux on my pc and I have apache running on both. I have a fat32 partition that is used for both Operative Systems. What I want to do is move the Apache "\Group\Apache\htdocs" and "var/www/" folders and merge them into one apache root folder on the fat32 partition, so that it can be shared with both operative systems. Can this be done? It would save a lot of bother with having to keep duplicate folders and files of everything. If it is possible, how does one go about setting it up. I'm sure there are permission issues. To think about. Also when I am using apache in linux. I can only save files to the "var/www/" as a root user. I prefer not to use the root mode and use another user profile.
