genericnumber1 Posted March 3, 2007 Share Posted March 3, 2007 I'm not sure about links that have those, and the competition projects are probably about medium level and would be annoying for a beginner... The best place imho for practice projects would be in your head... blogs... news scripts... comment boxes... And you figure out how to do them yourself by mixtures of tutorials, these forums, IRC, etc. Think about what interests you and what you want to learn about. Find something you think is pretty cool and figure out how to do it, if it's too hard try to simplify it a bit, you can come back to it later and make it better. The fun part about scripting is doing things that interest you, and having fun. pocobueno1388 Posted March 3, 2007 Share Posted March 3, 2007 Games are always fun to create as practice, although you should start with simple games like "guess the number", and have them try to guess a number between 0 and 50 or something. Then as you get better you can keep adding things to it like telling them if they are hot or cold...or whatever.
