bu21c Posted March 7, 2007 Share Posted March 7, 2007 Hi i need help...i dont even know where to start.....i started doing a php web site with os commerce....but it looks crap and is too limited...i cant change certain things....i need a good template that i can change and make it look hot. i have designed nice sites in html but php is sooo much complicated.....can i design it in dreamweaver....and how can i use my sql to manage my database.....i just need some guidence in the right direction.... thanks... ted_chou12 Posted March 7, 2007 Share Posted March 7, 2007 If you are not a very good designer, I suggest you to look for ready made designs, as for the Dreamweaver idea, i suggest you only do your htmls and css with it, not php, because their functions might make a mess of php, since is not as simple as html codes. when you have php errors, it would be very hard to correct, i suggest you use color coded notepad or something, something that writes the script in the old fashion. if you are new to php, you can find some online tutorials of your ideal. PHP simply outputs strings, alot of the time those strings happen to be html.
