my website fine in internet explorer, rubbish in firefox

Looks pretty much the same in both browsers to me.  What is your specific problem?

problem 1

 

where the welcome box is there is a gap at the bottom in internet explorer but not in firefox

 

problem 2

 

the top bar and under logo, the text starts futher in the bar then in internet explorer

 

problem 3

 

the background image has not repeated on firefox

Honestly, without seeing code we can't really help you; but when it comes right down to it, browsers include their own default styles for certain elements...so it's best to 'zero out' all of your elements like p, div, etc. before adding your own custom styles....

div, p, table, form

margin:0px;

padding:0px;

}
