Sheelac Posted March 16, 2007 Share Posted March 16, 2007 Hi dear freaks of computeristic nature. I got a greater moment of issues with MySQL problems here, and wondered if anyone could help me.. I have had this problem before, and got through it, but can't remember how.. Well.. The problem is this: I have installed MySQL 5 to the primary direction C:\Programs\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.0\ and from that part I need to tell the program what I need the program for, well that is so done too.. All I need now is enter root password, current one and new one.. Thats done too, all I need now.....is to connect.. Well, seems to be a problem for my computer, cuz the damn thing just won't connect me After I've pressed Execute it returns this: Processing configurationg ... / Prepare configuration /Write configuration file (C:\Programs\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.0\my.ini) X Start service The service could not be started. Error: 0 .............Why won't the thing get started?! Please help me... Really need MySQL to work soon, hope you guys can help me...
