i have a coupon system that can support coupons from 2 different types of users doctors & professionals

trying to make a query to return results of search pattern that checks against either doctor's last name or professional's company name

here is my query, is this right?

SELECT coupon.id AS id1,coupon.user_id,user_id2,title,short_text,expiration,cat_id,date_added,date,city_id,status,type,doctors.id AS id2, doctors.last_name, doctors.first_name,professionals.id,professionals.company_name FROM `coupon` JOIN (doctors,professionals) ON (professionals.id = coupon.user_id AND doctors.id = coupon.user_id2) WHERE `status`='active' AND (`last_name` LIKE '%name%' OR `company_name` LIKE '%name%') ORDER BY `date` DESC, `date` ASC, `id` ASC LIMIT 0, 40
