spamoom
I would say that I am intermediate at php and can and have made a fully working cms system. But, something that has always been on my mind is this, I thought of it when I saw the MMORPG comp.. like the game ogame.org... I can't figure out how to make resources go up every second, and yield changes for each player via there skills. I had an idea to update it on every page view if a timestamp was so old. But that would not be very reliable, cause if nobody came online... There would be no increase... Please could someone tell me if they have any ideas Thanks! kenrbnsn
You would need to use a CRON job (if on UNIX) to start a separate script every second (probably too quickly) or every 30 seconds to a minute to do the needed updates. Ken

DeathStar
Main part of a MMORPG is the concept(planning) of it. So have a complete concept before writing the code!
