Hello,

Have a client who has a big excel spreadsheet of book info. I'm designing her website and she wants to have a searchable field so users can look up the info (i.e. search by author, or search by title, etc.)

I'm a designer, not a programmer. I have very little experience with databases, but I know that php/mysql can be used to do this. Is there a tutorial available somewhere?

I've seen applications that will convert an excel spreadsheet to mysql, but wouldn't know where to go from there. I may be willing to pay someone to do this for me, as web design is just a part-time hobby and I don't have the time to look into this. I have no idea how much time this would take someone to do?

Thanks!!
