Hi,

i have some screen resoloution problems on my website, Marc-Online.co.uk.

My desktop's screen resoloution is set to 1280x1024,

and my laptop's screen resoloution is 1024x768. I built my website (http://marc-online.co.uk on my desktop. When i look at the website on my laptop it is all dis-orentated and all out of place.

Is there any way i can combat this?

I was thinking of a script that checked your screen resoloution then automaticly directed you to the website to suit. So if you had a screen resoloution of 800x600 it would direct you to www.marc-online.co.uk/800x600/ ?? Is this possible? (i dont want to go down this route because it would be time consuming and i dont know how to do that sort of stuff)

Thanks,

Marc.

All looks fine to me!

The trick here is to design your site so that it doesn't matter what resolution clients have. with a fluid layout (% widths etc) you can provide for everyone (make sure you work on the basis that min width is about 760px - once you have done that you've won! ;))

This thread is more than a year old. Please don't revive it unless you have something important to add.
