Well.. It looks like I might have a job offer coming up in not to long.. And it looks like I need to make an online store for them... so basicly I wonder... in the database... what kind of tables do I need and what kind of fields?

 

 

and also.. is this http://www.sitepoint.com/article/card-validation-class-php/1 a secure way to validate a card number or is it easy to fake? and how does that part actually work? how does the money get transfered? by the reciver, webpage or?

You're going to build an online store and you don't know what a good database structure would be, you're not sure about card number validation, and you don't understand money transfers.

 

Sounds pretty scary to me (and your prospective client and his/her customers).

 

Maybe you want to look at a canned solution like osCommerce with third-party cc handling

hehe... yeah... but i really want to do it myself... but ofcourse... if at the end feel just slightly insecure on it I will orcourse use something like osCommerce...

 

but as I also said... nothing is 100% yet... just been in touch with my sis and her housband that has alot of contacts, and they knew about some that needed a new site... and they were going to talk with them...
