c4onastick
Hi everyone. This is a bit off topic but it definitely doesn't fit in any of the other forums. I've been writing a online collaboration site, but today the need for it became immediate (and my version is far from complete). Does anyone know of any open source collaboration applications (preferably based in PHP)? I need to coordinate two teams of 7-10 people with wildly varying schedules. Functions I need are: Calendar - To set events and meetings Discussion Board - A pseudo Forum Task list - Sort of a Gant chart setup (a simple "To Do" list would be fine) File Sharing/Document Control - Need to be able to have revision control Group Messaging - Optional: Private Messaging I've been scowering the internet for the past hour or so and I can't seem to find any. Any advice/links/thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
utexas_pjm
I'm not sure that Sugar CRM has all that you're looking for but it's designed to be very modular such that plugins can be developed without too much trouble. http://www.sugarcrm.com/crm/community/sugarcrm-community.html Best, Patrick

I'll fiddle with it and see if I can't get it working.
c4onastick
For future reference for anyone that comes across this thread looking for the same information. Tom's Hardware did a pretty good review of 4 different open source "Groupware" PHP based applications. Read the article

c4onastick
Actually, I really could have used any one of these like 3 years ago. I'm graduating in two days, and it would have been great to keep track of all these projects I was involved with. I downloaded eGroupWare, haven't set it up yet (no reason to anymore), but I'd still like to mess around with it.
