I am trying to configure PEAR ... but I keep gettiing this error

Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'Cache/Lite.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php')

The installation said

Note: To use PEAR without any problems you need to add your

PEAR Installation path (/home/username/public_html/PEAR/PEAR)

to your include_path.

How do I do that?

thanks!

  • 2 weeks later...

i have similar question.

I had program that used amazon_services and also uses cache_lite which my host (im on shared host) installed. It worked fine. Then I decide to move the program to a new folder. I don't think it was because i moved it, but i am getting same error that it can't the Cache/Lite.php.

check out ncbookexchange.com and click on a book and u can see error.... The cache/lite.php I think is on the actual server, not my hosting account. So can i assume its the main server, not my own actions that is bringing this error? Thanks a ton!... im losing a lot of activity (for my standards anyways) because of this. thanks a lot for any help!
