magnetica
I am not sure whether you are actually able to retrieve the dimensions of a flash game from code. But is done seem that Miniclip.com are able to do it, but I am still not sure whether the dimensions are being retrieved from the database or not. Here is two obvious examples: http://www.miniclip.com/games/commando/en/ http://www.miniclip.com/games/monkey-kick-off/en/ See how the monkey game size is a lot bigger. So really I want to know whether it is possible to get the dimensions of a flash game. Or do I have to input every dimension into a datebase? Thanks, Sean Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/50353-automatically-determine-a-swf-dimensions/ Share on other sites
trq
Take a look at the ming extension. Its actually pretty poorly commented and not generally available but it may help you out. Never used it though. Other than that, Id'e say your out of luck. magnetica
Yea I have used the Ming Library before but it seems more for creating Flash than interacting with it. I suppose i'm down to manually doing it or paying someone to do it Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/50353-automatically-determine-a-swf-dimensions/#findComment-247239 Share on other sites
trq
Im not sure how complex an .swf is. You may be able to scan through the file (fread) and see if you can find any reference to its dimensions.
