Hello All,

Just switched over from IIS. Apache seems to be a great webserver. However, I'm haveing a little trouble.

When checking my site on local network via http://192.168.*.*** everything is fine. When I try to access it via www.mydomain.com it displays a blank white page.

This is also true if I try to access via my public IP address.

I've checked my firewalls, done port scans etc. Port 80 is open. So I have know idea what the problem is.

I'm using XP pro and the newest version of apache.

Any help would be great!

Thanks.

As you can see we can access the site locally but not external. As you can see with the 205.251.*.* ip above. We are getting requests trough the firewall. Apache just don't want to serve it. Trying to see where we are going wrong.

Any suggestions?

It could be a virtual hosts problem.

Can you place 1 file in the Root Directory. Call it test.html etc. and call it via 192... and 205...

The reason Im asking this is because of these lines:

205.251.**.**** - - [17/May/2007:13:20:18 -0230] "GET / HTTP/1.1" 200 11983

192.168.0.102 - - [17/May/2007:13:30:38 -0230] "GET / HTTP/1.1" 304 -

Now, if you can test the 1 file (test.html) and post the access.log entries you will be better able to debug whats happenning.

On your internal 192... computer. Can you hit CTRL+F5 to force a refresh of the website/webpage.
