john010117
return You can use variables after that. Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/52087-return-in-function/#findComment-256809 Share on other sites
MadTechie
Quick Example <?php echo "Hello "; echo MakeBold("World"); function MakeBold($foo) { $foo = "<b>".$foo."</b>"; return $foo; } ?> So when MakeBold is called the variable "World" is sent to the function.. the function does it stuff (add < b> to the starr and < /b> to the end) then returns the value back to where it was called from. make sense ?
