rhyspaterson
Hey guys, Quite new to PHP as a whole, but have quite a bit of knowledge to other languages. I'm just wondering if someone could point me in the direction of a guide that shows the different ways of formatting when you put multiple variables into one. I.e: $outputstring = "\t Adult Content: " . $adultContent . "\t www-Email Sites: " . $wwwEmailSites . "\t News: " . $news . "\t Violence/Undesirable: " . "\n"; The "\t" and "\n" are obviously some kind of PHP formatting elements, and when this is all written to a text file they come out formatted a certain way: Unmanaged: 0 Adult Content: 0 www-Email Sites: 0 News: 1 Violence/Undesirable: 1 I would just like to know all the different types of formatting variables and their functions. Sorry if this is a stupid question. Thanks heaps, /Rhys Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/52592-solved-basic-formatting-with-php/ Share on other sites
