ToonMariner Posted May 24, 2007 Share Posted May 24, 2007 the function simply retyurns the id of the group - you can't actually DO anything with as such except use the id for other things like posix_getgrgid() to resolve a name.... Maybe if you explained what you were trying to accomplish we coul dbe more helpful - guessing at what you want to do means we will probably be a million miles off the mark...
