jester626
Have been struggling with this little issue for quite some time and thought I'd come ask for some input. I know this must be something simple and easy but I'm just not seeing/getting it. I have an email script that will pull the addreses from my club membership database. That part works fine. the problem I am having is being able to include row results inside of the actual email message. My message variable is something like this: <SNIPPET> $message = ' Hello: \n this is the typical drival then to a URL that links to each individual record\n http:\\www.mydomain.com\verify.php?memberid=$row_sendmessage['memberid']\n"; </SNIPPET> When the email is sent, it appears just as it appears above the URL being appended with the $row_----- text and not the actual memberid from the database. I know it is getting the record information since the e-mail address is coming from the DB and the emails are being sent. Thanks in advance Jester Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/53163-adding-result-row-to-mail-function/ Share on other sites
AndyB
$message = " Hello: \n this is the typical drival then to a URL that links to each individual record\n http:\\www.mydomain.com\verify.php?memberid=". $row_sendmessage['memberid']. "\n"; Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/53163-adding-result-row-to-mail-function/#findComment-262634 Share on other sites
jester626
Tried it this way and still do not get the results from the DB, if I leave the single quotes in the row results I get a page error ( ['memberid'] ) If I take them out it displays the row results as written . AndyB
If that fails, then perhaps there's no such thing as $row_sendmessage['memberid']. Sure that's the array name? Sure that memberid has a value? etc. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/53163-adding-result-row-to-mail-function/#findComment-262650 Share on other sites
