doucie
Hi All. I'm trying (unsucessfully) to create a coloured band across the page at the top (a bit like on this site http://www.garmin.com/garmin/cms/site/us) My page has a white space around the background. I'm new to this CSS malarkey so any help would be appreciated Oh I've got this so far.

Tessera Group Plc

About Us

Debt Purchase

Debt Recovery

Specialist Services

Technology

Contact Us

and #header { background-color: #000099; } #header h3 { color: #FFFFFF; } Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/54807-solved-help-with-creating-a-band-across-the-top-of-page/ Share on other sites
calabiyau
body {margin:0; padding: 0;} Try this if I understand what you mean, some browsers will put margins or paddings on the body element unless you tell them otherwise.
