flaab Posted June 10, 2007 Share Posted June 10, 2007 Hi =) I'm a Website Programmer and I would like to give hosting to my clients. I'm actually signed up with www.amen.es. (I'm from Spain) but it's driving me crazy with software updates. They want to CHARGE me money to upgrade from php4 to php5. So i decided to quit with them and rent a good hosting. I've searching for a good hosting company and i've viewed a lot. But before decide I would like to ask you guys what hosting company do you use and why. And maybe get some recommendations. (YES, it would be better to hire a good T1 connection and set up the server at home but I don't get that connection here where I live =) My needs are the following: - Hosting multiple domains and websites - MySql, PHP5, SSL - Ruby on Rails would be nice I use it to develop simple dinamic websites (for complex things use php) - phpmyadmin, stats - multiple ftp users Well it's sort like that.
